Morro Bay, California

We spent April 26 & 27 in Morro Bay, a few hours north of Ventura, but I wish we had spent more time there. It is another great little ocean town and surroundings that surprised us. We stayed at Bay Pines RV Resort, in the hills just east of town, with spectacular views of the mountains. North of this quaint little town is Hearst Castle and a bay where over a thousand elephant sea lions soak up the sun after a very busy mating season.
