A Day at The Grand Harbor Beach Club

We went back to Vero Beach, today, to spend a day with Jim & Tenee at Grand Harbor. A rum punch on the beach, plus great food and great company made for a great day.

We have changed directions

We were planning to head west this month, then up the coast to Oregon & Washington for May and June, but with all the bad weather out west, we plan on going north and see the northwest in September and October. We are now at Land Yacht Harbor in Melbourne, Florida. It's a great park with a storage shed on every site...a nice touch. It is billed as a 55 or over resort, but it should say an 85 or over resort.

A trip to Orlando, Florida

We left Tanglewood Village RV Park in Vero Beach, Florida for a couple of days (January 7-10) and joined Walter & Betty in their time share at Marriott Cypress Harbour...quite a culture change.

Good times in The Villages
We spent 2 weeks visiting Bob and Nancy in The Villages. Mary Ann and I also went over to Mount Dora for a day to see Mike and Elaine. They both seem to be enjoying life. Love Mount Dora. We are now in Vero Beach for the next 2 1/2 months to enjoy the good Florida weather.

Small kid on the block

We are spending 2 weeks at Recreation Plantation... Lady Lake in The Villages, Florida to visit Bob and Nancy. We love the resort, but check out the rig next to us. It's a 45 ft. Monico RV bus with 4 slides, a washer & dryer, a dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and a fireplace. Maybe I can get one of those when I grow up, or maybe Mary Ann would like this RV life better if I did have one now.

SEASONS GREETINGS...from Jekyll Island, Georgia

As with last year, we are staying in the Jekyll Island RV Resort for a few days before heading to Florida. This is one of the best places we like on the east coast. Truly a gem in Georgia.

Kailey...Queen of the tournament

We went to the Medieval Times Dinner Theater Saturday night, November 8, in Myrtle Beach.

We had a great time, but the best part of the night was when Kailey was chosen  Queen of the Tournament by the Yellow Knight. Check out the picture of him handing Kailey his scarf on the end of his lance.
