Kailey...Queen of the tournament
We went to the Medieval Times Dinner Theater Saturday night, November 8, in Myrtle Beach.
We had a great time, but the best part of the night was when Kailey was chosen  Queen of the Tournament by the Yellow Knight. Check out the picture of him handing Kailey his scarf on the end of his lance.

Beach Bonus
Mike, Logan & Kailey joined us in Myrtle Beach this weekend. Half the fun was watching all the horses on the beach. There was a fund raiser with hundreds of horses participating from the RV resort next to us.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
We are on an ocean front site at Pirateland RV Resort, in Myrtle Beach, for 3 weeks. Mike's family is going to join us tonight for the weekend. There will be over 1500 horses on the beach, this weekend, which should add to the fun. The weather is good and I love Myrtle Beach on the off season.

Back to where it all started
We are now back at Mc Dowell Park, on Lake Wylie in Charlotte, North Carolina, where we started this quest one year ago. It has been a great adventure and I hope next year will bring us even more excitement. Only time will tell how this story ends.

Cousin (Uncle) Eddie goes to Hampstead, Maryland
We spent the weekend of October 18 & 19 in Brian & Candi's driveway. It was fully packed weekend with a lot of fun and good times. They all really made us feel at home.

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
We spent Wednesday & Thursday, October 15 & 16 at the Artillery Ridge Camping Resort right on one of the battle fields in Gettysburg. It was a cool resort with horses one could ride on the battle field. We did not do that, but we packed a lot in on those two days and wish we could have spent more time there. We will be back.

Our last visit with the kids
We went up to Burlington last weekend to visit Erik's family before heading south. Although it has been an outstanding fall this year, the temperature went below freezing last night, so it is time to move on to Gettysburg tomorrow.
