Mary Ann & I spent our 50th Wedding Anniversary in Meredith, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee at Mill Falls At The Lake. The good news is...it was a perfect weekend, the bad news is we were not with our family, but the good times made up for it.

Out of the several hotels on Mill Falls At The Lake, we stayed in the Chase House which surpassed our expectations...Mary Ann wanted to ditch our motorhome and move right in.

Mill Falls At The Lake was a beautiful complex on Meredith Bay with several restaurants  and we tried most of them.

 

Lake Winnipesaukee is as beautiful and similar to Lake George. It is spring fed, with a rock bottom and is 200 feet deep, with 258 islands, has a 288 mile shore line, with the widest width of 9 miles, and a 63 mile drive around the lake.  Mary Ann and I really enjoyed our 3 hour boat trip.

The day after Labor Day...
Sitting by the dock at Bolton Landing on beautiful Lake George listening to the quiet sounds of the water...what a difference a day makes.
