After a cup of morning joe, on Erik's back deck, we took a two mile hike not far from his house...a good way to start the day.

A weekend in Burlington, Vermont
We all went up to Erik's to see Addison and Isabella show off their talent in a musical play at the college...then it was off to dinner at Flatbreads by Church Street in Burlington.

A day trip to Forked Lake, Buttermilk Falls and Long Lake, where the boys spent many years camping growing up, brought back some great memories.

Mike and the kids stayed in a cabin at Lake George Escape this year, but still came to our neck of the woods for a serious dinner.

Tubing down The Hudson River and ending up with dinner at The Grist Mill makes for a good start with Mike, Logan and Kailey's visit to the north country.

Happy 4th of July
The mighty Hudson is overflowing its' banks for this time of year...plus Mary Ann's riverside vegetable garden was under water 3 days ago, but it survived.
