Cousin Eddie lands at Mike & Barbs house...
Not really, we are staying with them for 2 weeks while we are getting new upholstery, at Camping World in Statesville, for our motorhome.

A bike ride into the sunset
We biked around the island, the second day, and watched the sun set from the front window of our RV (on site C14) and then from the pier at Driftwood Beach across for the campground.

Restaurant on the dock
Cold beer and fresh steamed shrimp, on the dock, is always a must when visiting The Jekyll Island Club, but not so this time...they are renovating the whole place.

Our Jekyll Island, Georgia Fix
We are spending three days at The Jekyll Island Campground...shown here is Mary Ann sipping a mite julep on the veranda of The Jekyll Island Hotel and lunch at Zachry's by the marina...not a bad start for the first day.

Easter morning at The Breakfast Cottage in Nokomis, Florida with blueberry pancakes to die for...off to Jekyll Island, Georgia tomorrow and points north...we will miss The Royal Coachman RV Resort.

Another tough day in Florida on Turtle Beach at Siesta Key

A day on the water...
Mike rented a pontoon boat at Blackburn Point north of Nokomis...we traveled down the Intracoastal Waterway by Casey Key, down to the Jetty at Venice and out to The Gulf of Mexico...The Gulf wasn't any rougher then Lake George on a crowded summer weekend...We ended the day with dinner at Pop's Sunset Grill on the Intracoastal by Nokomis Beach...Another perfect day in Florida.

What a surprise, another lunch on the water...
We went to Siesta Key to go to their famous beach, but being Sunday at noon, it was so busy we could  not even get a parking spot...plan B was lunch a The Boat Yard right over the bridge 

Lunch on the beach...
Mike treated us to a great seafood lunch at Fins by the Venice Pier.

A visit to The Jetty in Nokomis and The Pier in Venice.

A week with Mike, Logan & Kailey...
The sun will be full and the temps in the low 80's...so bring it on.
