A day at Siesta Key
One of the top beaches in Florida, Siesta Key is just north of us and our new favorite place.
Lunch at the Siesta Key Oyster Bar, with a blues band in the background, was a plus for the day.

Royal Coachman RV Resort
We are here for the winter in this cool resort within the small town of Nokomis located on the west coast of Florida south of Sarasota. The resort sits on Dona Bay and with free use of their boats we can canoe down to the Gulf of Mexico...we've have to try that. With several great beaches near by, I know we are going to love it here in this quiet part of Florida.

Cane Creek Campground
We are now at Cane Creek in Waxhaw, North Carolina about 1/2 an hour south of Mike's house and we really love the campground with a site right on the lake. Sunset can be seen out our front window...very cool.  The natural setting and woods is also a plus, but the down side is we are about 10 miles from civilization. We are here from November 8 to 15 before heading to the west coast of Florida for the winter.

A Month in The Carolina's
We got our Blue Ridge Parkway fix by Mount Mitchell while staying never Mike's house in Matthews, North Carolina with 2 weeks at McDowell Park in Charlotte, North Carolina and a week at Cane Creek Campground in Waxhaw, North Carolina (Our new favorite RV park).

Lake George Escape
Our back yard and pool at the resort. Not a bad way to end the summer up north.

New Digs...

We have moved down to a site in Lake George Escape for a month...great views with a pond behind us. We are now ready for fall!
