Back to where it all started

We are now back at Mc Dowell Park, on Lake Wylie in Charlotte, North Carolina, where we started this quest one year ago. It has been a great adventure and I hope next year will bring us even more excitement. Only time will tell how this story ends.

Cousin (Uncle) Eddie goes to Hampstead, Maryland

We spent the weekend of October 18 & 19 in Brian & Candi's driveway. It was fully packed weekend with a lot of fun and good times. They all really made us feel at home.

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

We spent Wednesday & Thursday, October 15 & 16 at the Artillery Ridge Camping Resort right on one of the battle fields in Gettysburg. It was a cool resort with horses one could ride on the battle field. We did not do that, but we packed a lot in on those two days and wish we could have spent more time there. We will be back.

Our last visit with the kids

We went up to Burlington last weekend to visit Erik's family before heading south. Although it has been an outstanding fall this year, the temperature went below freezing last night, so it is time to move on to Gettysburg tomorrow.

Colors of The Adirondacks

This was one of the best falls we have seen in the north country and are sorry to be leaving it, but we are heading south. I'm not sure if Mary Ann will be hiding in the woods when I pull the RV off our site next week. Lets hope she will be with me on this venture into the northwest next year.
