After a day at Round Island in South Vero Beach
We spent the day watching several manatees in the lagoon at Round Island State Park. The manatees would come right up to people in kayaks and roll over to have their bellies rubbed. Then we went to the bay side of the park to watch several dolphins, a stingray and a water moccasin
play in the water. We thought we saw it all, but when we came home there was a group of ibis, in our front yard, waiting for dinner.

Pelican Island
We took a 4 mile hike around Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge yesterday to observe all the wildlife they boasted about. Two birds and a butterfly was all that came out to greet us. It wasn't a total loss...the weather and the walk was beautiful.

Sebastian Inlet
There is a great state campground at Sebastian Inlet, north of Vero Beach, for RV's, but it is always full this time of year. We spent the day here yesterday. Maybe we will luck out next year and stay a couple of weeks at the campground.

A Trip To Jetty Park
We spent Sunday at Jetty Park Beach, on Hutchinson Island, south of Vero Beach. It was a beautiful active day but a bit cold. There was your basic bar & grill on the beach with live music. (not as good as Erik)

A New Addition
Thanks to Susan Hobert, (Mary Ann's cousin), we have a new decorative addition in our RV. This is her original embroidery of our VW camper of the past (1968) and our motor home of today that we framed...pretty cool...thank you Sue.

McKee Botanical Garden
Sorry I have not been back for a while Blog, but we are still playing in Vero Beach. A must see visit in Vero is to the McKee Botanical Gardens. The place is peaceful, quite and full of beauty.
