HUTCHINSON ISLAND

Mary Ann and I spent the day at Fredrick Douglass National Park, on Hutchinson Island, yesterday. The place is noted for its' sea shell collection and horse back riding on the beach. See if you can spot which horse we are on, or not.

OUR TRAVELS FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS

We will be staying in Vero Beach, at Tanglewood Village, until the end of February. Then it is off to the Gulf Coast and New Orleans.

March 1 to 9... Sunset Isle RV and Yacht Club, Carrabelle Gulf Coast, Florida

March 10 to 12... Topsail Hill State Park, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

March 13 to 16... Big Lagoon State Park, Pensacola, Florida

March 17 to 23... Pontchartrain Landing RV and Yacht Club, New Orleans, LA

Then we will head to Galveston and San Antonio, Texas.

I am excited about New Orleans, not because it is my birth place, it is, but because Mike & Erik will join us for the weekend of March 22.

A stop at Waldo's in Vero Beach, for a Maui Maui sandwich, is a must.

WE HAVE BEEN UPGRADED!
Jim & Tenee are the perfect hosts...After showing us the hot spot in Vero Beach they offered their Grand Harbor Pool & Beach Club to us. I can't remember if I am to charge our food & drinks to the Underhill's or the Casaccio's.

WE ARE GETTING IT TOGETHER

We are starting to cover all our bases with this new RV life. Yesterday we went back up to The Villages to get our Florida plates, so we are on our way. As I stated before, we will spend the month of January in Vero Beach. We got such a good rate at Tanglewood Village we are going to also spend the month of February at the park also. Then hopefully we will be on our way west when the weather gets warmer.

TANGLEWOOD VILLAGE...VERO BEACH, FLORIDA

We are now in Vero Beach for the month of January and are staying in an old, but friendly, community that has small homes, trailers and RV sites mixed together. Jim & Tenee have a beautiful place here at Grand Harbor. They had a cocktail party and took us to the club house for dinner to celebrate Mary Ann's birthday last night. Not a bad way to start our first day in south Florida.
